First Brush of Spring April 15th through 18th, 2020

For those of you who have never been to the "First Brush of Spring" plein air painting event in New Harmony,  Indiana, you are missing something really special. New Harmony is a beautiful little city along the Wabash River in southwestern Indiana. Artists from all over the country come to this historic place to sudy and paint. I have had fantastic classes in the past with superior instructors such as Dan Gerhartz, Laura Robb, Susan Lyons and C.W. Mundy.

This April's instructor line up is as amazing as ever. I will be studying with Laura Robb in a still life workshop. I can't wait for Spring!

Art on the Street

Here is the latest addition to the "Making  Faces In Aurora" mural project.  These handsome guys took a moment to pose next to their likenesses before it is installed in it's permanent location on the Aurora, Indiana riverfront.
I'm honored to have been chosen by Main Street, Aurora as the artist to present an exciting new public artwork in Aurora,  Indiana. It's called "Making Faces in Aurora".
It is a large scale portrait mural project on a riverfront warehouse on Indiana Highway 56 ( 102 Judiciary Street, 47001).
These portraits are of people whose families have submitted their photos to be added.  These friends and family members  are now permanently honored and remembered by all who live in or visit Aurora, Indiana.
